Blushing

Blushing is one of the easiest steps to do to complete you makeup routine, applying it is very simple only if you know the steps.Blush just gives an extra pop to the cheeks.

          Preparation
1.Choose your blush type.
Powder and gel blushes are good for Oily Skin cream is best for normal to dry skin.Whichever type you choose, its shade should match your natural coloring, so try to pick one that reflects your color when you blush normally.

2.Purchase some quality blush brushes.
A blush brush is the best choice; never use a small, cheap brush. If you use a cheap brush, you'll have a cheap looking result. Avoid makeshift items such as cotton wool balls or powder puffs as these do not work well with the pigment in the blush.

               Applying
1.Apply blush after you've put on the rest of your makeup.
2. Prepare. If you’re using a powder, lightly sweep a medium-sized fluffy brush through the blush and then tap it to remove any excess. If you’re using a cream or gel, dab a little on your ring finger.

Eyebrows

OMG ! This topic is very touching for me. I witness the "Eyebrows gone wrong" everyday. All the way from shaping wrong, filling in wrong, using the wrong eyebrow pencil color, etc. And it hurt my heart to see this. Eyebrows are a big thing in today's society. All you need is common sense to pull this together. Why go out looking crazy when you can take at least 5 minutes to watch a tutorial. But the madness end today.

         Shaping your eyebrows.
1. Inner brow- Determine where your inner brow began by using anything with a straight edge or most common a Q-tip. Line up the Q-tip vertically in front of your face so that it touches the side of your nose, Mark that area using a eyebrow pencil.

2. Arch- Determine where your arch began by lining up the Q-tip with your nose and the edge of your iris, where your eyebrow and the Q-tip meet is where you should mark with your pencil.

3. Outer brow- Determine where your outer brow end by placing the Q- tip near the edge of your nose till it pass the end of your eyes.

4. Draw a line- Draw a line underneath your eyebrow to determine if you agree with the shape and thickness.

5. Plucking- Any stray hair that falls outside the line you can pluck away with tweezers.

                 Highlighting
1. Brush eyebrow up with an eyebrow brush cut any uneven hairs.

2. Use light strokes when filling in your natural hairs with a eyebrow pencil, making sure that you use a color thats one shade lighter than your skin tone.

3. Use a flat tip brush along with a cream concealer also one shade light then your skin color.

4. Go as close as possible to the  bottom of your eyebrows making sure you keep a straight nice line making sure you don't mix within the shading.

5. Blend concealer downward towards the eye area.

6. Use a clear brow gel to tame the brows and keep them in place.

When doing your eyebrows you have to be completly careful cause one wrong move can mess up everything. And once one string of hair goes missing you'll have to do extra work trying to fix it. I believe anybody can achieve this look with practice OF COURSE!

LipStick

Some people choose to think that lipstick and picking lipstick color is done randomly. NO BOO BOO everything is according to your Skin Color, all the way down to the color of your lips.

       Finding the right color.
1. Finding a color that is one or two shades darker.
2. Experiment with Pink and Reds.
3. Keeping it Natural.

      Skin Tones.
1. Fair skin color- Coral Red
2. Medium skin color- Pink
3. Dark skin color- Burgundy Red

      Shopping for lipstick
1. Try it on before buying
2. Removing color completely before trying on a new one
3. Try on with Makeup or without
4. Asking for Help

     Matching
1. Dont match to closely to what you're wearing
2. Dramatic lips or eyes  NOT BOTH
3. Smokey eyes goes better with a Nude or light pink.

Never in a million years would I have thought that you would have to go through so much to picking a lipstick color. But it's all worth it in the long run.

Eye Shadow

Eye-Shadowing is one of the most complex steps when doing your makeup. It take a lot of practice and accuracy. A tiny mess up can cause the whole thing to look AWFUL. Knowing the right tips a save your life LITERALLY. Eye shadow is such a vast variety trying to find the right texture and color may be devastating.
       Picking the right Texture.
1. High Pigmented - loose powder, difficult to control because of the loose form.
2. Cream Shadow- easy to apply, crease more quickly than powder.
3. Compact Powder- manageable, long lasting.
     Picking the right Color.
If you want an unique flashy look light color such as pink, purple. If you want a more neutral look you should go for a brown or grayish color.
      Selecting the Right Brush.
1. Using your fingertip can be useful but since they have oil it may mess up the look so stick with a stiff flat brush.
2. Soft pencil brush for areas such as the corner of your eyes.
        Brush Strokes
1. Use Short Slow brush strokes going in the direction in which you're blending the colors.( outward )
2. Brush back and forth.
     Finishing up
1.     Apply a Shadow Primer to help your eye shadow last all day long with out smudging or wiping off.

Concealer

When your'e applying concealer to cover up dark marks or any unwanted seen area you should make sure you know exactly what you're doing, because what I have been seeing is just ridiculous. Concealer shouldn't be applied by an inexperienced person because you guys make yourself look HORRIBLE. Watching a tutorial on how to apply concealer should be a most before even considering using concealer.

1. Finding the Right Concealer.

Concealer comes in various shapes, sizes, and colors. So it's normal if you may think finding the right concealer for your skin may be hard to do, but yet it's not. When trying to find the right concealer to cover up scars, dark eyes, whatever it might be just Remember to
always get a shade 1-2 lighter than your own natural skin color.

2. Cleansing.
Before applying you should always make sure you start off with a fresh face, especially if you have worn makeup the previous day. You can use a face cleanser then afterwards make sure you use a moisturizer. Making sure your face is clean and moisturized will make applying the concealer smoother and give it a natural-er look.
3. Cover up under eyes circles.
You can use a concealer brush or your very own fingertips to dap
the concealer in making sure you blend the concealer in around the
edges so it's not obvious in the change of skin tone. ( never in a million rub in the concealer in.)

4. (optional) Apply to ACNE and SPOTS.
If you have Acne, Dark Spots, Scars etc. Dap concealer onto marks , blending outward. Avoid using finger to blend use a brush from

spreading bacteria.

5. Set Concealer.
When all areas that you think is successfully covered add a layer of foundation ( powder or liquid) using a brush to spread the foundation entirely on the face using the end of the brush to reach the corners of your face.

Concealing is the first and most important step when doing your make-up. It's like building a house if the concrete and foundation is not in place everything else is going to be a downfall. Concealer can be a beautiful thing only if you know what you're doing.

EYELINING

The Do’s and Don’ts on Eyelining

Eye-lining to some may believe it’s the easiest thing to do, but when they know nothing about it they'll successively fail, and thats exactly what i have been seeing.
First off theres some do and don'ts when it comes to doing your eyeliner. Below I'm going to list 5 do and don'ts on what you shouldn't do, you SHOULD ALWAYS REMEMBER.

 DON'TS
1.Don't and I repeat don't over do it, when you going for an intense, feisty, but not too fierce look. Make sure you don't make your eyeliner to thick especially not on the bottom lash.

2. Don't leave a gap in between your lash line and the liner, make sure you get as close as possible when applying you don't want it to look as if someone is playing peek-a-boo with your eyes.

3. Don't just apply eyeliner to your bottom lash only. You don't want to make your eyes look excessively droopy. Make sure if you're thinking about applying eyeliner to just the bottom make sure it thin enough so it's not really noticeable.

4. Don't apply the liner on your top and bottom lash if you have small eyes. This will overpower them and make it look even smaller. So avoid the bottom lash if your eyes are small.
5. Don't apply any liquid type of eyeliner on your bottom line; it gives it a heavy and very dramatic look. If you not into any Gothic type look then i expect you not to.

                   DO'S
1. Do cut corners when you rim the entire eye with the liner the results in an unnatural raccoon eye. Partially line the bottom lash from the outside corners inward if you prefer a cat look extend it upward just a little.

2. If you prefer to use eyeliner and would like to apply to your bottom lash you may but its most preferable if you use it if you want a winged look or a cat look.

3. Line your bottom lash with a lighter color this make your eyes look bright-eyed and younger.

4. Apply the liner close to your lashes to give it a full, and thicker look.

These steps on what and what not to do shall help some of you guys that like to use eyeliner in your make-up routine, and since you WANT TO LOOK good since that's the point of using makeup follow these steps and you'll look GOOD. I ten to believe eyeliner is the easiest yet simple step to do, it just take practice.
